Experiences
Choose to focus on an aspect of your life, from your work, career, lifestyle or relationships to your spirituality or retirement. All online sessions use conversation and coaching, and Jessica deploys many sources to bring clarity, heart and insight to any moment, ranging from her own books and Vedic texts to contemporary psychology.
The Get Unstuck retreat helps you find your way out of personal or professional confusion to clarity. Each day begins with a grounding meditation, then a four-hour coaching session on Zoom, followed by a few hours of offline downtime to digest what has gone on. A shorter follow-up coaching session takes place before supper.
Is This It? explores what it means to live spiritually and how it can give meaning to your life. Connecting on Zoom in the morning and afternoon each day, you’ll explore the concepts in Jessica’s book Remembering Perfection, you’ll address life’s big inner questions, reconnect to your inner knowing and find your answers.
Retire Happily is a deep dive into what you’d like the next stage of your life to look like, and feel like, and removes any obstacles to moving forward. It follows the same flow as Get Unstuck. Follow-up sessions will help you roll out your plan. This retreat is also available for couples who want to work out together what retirement can look like.
Plan a totally clear schedule between sessions so you can use the time to help you relax and process, whether that’s a walk, a swim, a run, some yoga or a bit of gardening.
Space and Sustenance
Clear your schedule entirely, eliminating all distractions for the duration of your retreat. Inform colleagues, friends and family members that you're unavailable, so that you can switch off your phone and computer.
If feasible, go away somewhere so you can create a retreat atmosphere. Jessica suggests a spa, quiet hotel or B&B. Bring items like candles and flowers to make your experience feel special.
If you decide to stay at home, create a comfortable, quiet and safe space. Aim for a relaxed ambience, as if you and Jessica were in the same room.
Prepare delicious, nourishing food and drinks ahead of time if you can, so you don't have to worry during the retreat. Have plenty of water to drink – it’s very important you keep hydrated.
Bring a journal to the retreat. Although Jessica provides notes post-retreat, having a journal helps you capture your personal reflections during downtime.
