Held by four four-foot amethyst Geodes, The Crystal Room is a light, rectangular room set in the Stables Courtyard, and is the perfect space for smaller events, accommodating up to 20 people comfortably. With underfloor heating, its own loo, an overhead projector and a Bose music system, it looks out over a beautiful parterre garden, where the centrepiece is a statue of a dancer. The yurt, which is 33ft in diameter, is better suited to larger groups of 25 to 30. Tucked away in the grounds, it’s kept beautifully warm with far infrared heating that helps the body to detox and build the immune system. With stunning dimmable lighting, it’s ideal for yoga, sound baths, dance and talks. Or you might choose to use The Sekhmet Cottage, set in the Stables Courtyard, with its own kitchen and dining area. This is ideal for day events that require tables.

The manor house is set within 20 acres of beautiful gardens, with even more land spanning local woods and fields which are perfect for longer walks and time in nature. Use the land as your playground - scattered around the grounds are stunning swings, giant, wooden tables and chairs, a wooden Star bed and a carved Green Man and Woman. As well as a swimming pool and a tennis court, there is a firepit under open skies and next to an ancient oak tree. The firepit is built in the shape of the ancient symbol of the ouroboros, the snake eating its own tail representing death and re-birth, with the yin/yang symbol under the fire. It's a great spot for releasing and transformation work. The grounds hold two wonderful labyrinths, The Earth and Star labyrinth. The labyrinths represent the yin and yang, the above and below, and the masculine and the feminine, as well as all the elements. Outdoor cushions, jackets and wellies are available.

Accommodation is equally spread between the Manor House and Stables Courtyard, which feature beautiful antiques, exquisite paintings and harmonious interior décor. The Manor House has nine luxurious bedrooms decorated in an English country manor style. All have shared bathrooms. In the Stables Courtyard there are seven more bedrooms, which are more contemporary in style. Of the 16 bedrooms, eight have double beds and eight have twin beds (all twins can be made into doubles). Five bedrooms are en-suite, while the other rooms share a bathroom. All rooms have towels, bathrobes, slippers, body wash, tea and coffee facilities, hot water bottles and hairdryers.

There are two beautiful sitting rooms – one is very large with two fireplaces, while the other is smaller and wood-panelled, with a fireplace. There is an extensive library, where you can curl up with a book. Both rooms overlook the gardens. A barbecue seating area that overlooks the sunken garden and the Stables Courtyard has a lovely outdoor eating or seating area, where you can chat, relax and admire the view.

As well as swimming and tennis, you can wander the grounds, rest at meditation spots, or get creative at the art centre. There is a free talk on the history of the manor and an explanation of how to walk labyrinths. The venue can organise therapists for crystal healing, sound baths, massage, dance, reiki, facials, Indian head massage, art therapy, coaching, meditation and family constellation. Try cold water swimming nearby at Castle Ashby or visit the quiet market town of Olney, about 20 minutes away.

The stunning stately dining room has a huge table that seats 20, and a window seat table that can accommodate another 10 people. It has a large fireplace and looks out onto the sunken gardens. Delicious, tailored menus are available through trusted private chefs. Alternatively, you can bring your own chef. There’s also a barbecue area.

No chemicals have been used on the 45 acres of fields for more than 30 years – they’re set aside for nature to thrive in. All the water that comes into the property is energised with imploded water devices. The venue's own well water is purified, energised and delicious, and is freely available to guests.
