Visiting a hauntingly beautiful Greek Orthodox church with Nefeli Nine Retreats in Greece

Nirpal Dhaliwal writes :

This is our hiking guide Elias in the hauntingly beautiful Greek Orthodox church of Agioi Taxiarches, which we visited before our first hike - from the mountain village of Milies to the coastal town of Kala Nera - on a hiking and yoga retreat with Nefeli Nine Retreats in Pelion on mainland Greece. Originally built in 1656, the church is dedicated to Saint Taxiarches and Agioi Pantes (All Saints). An intimate and very spiritual space, adorned with Byzantine murals and reliefs, it gave me a deep experience of the region’s ancient and mystical past.
